My name is Dawn Moore. This is my 3rd year teaching at Passmores. I am a Primary trained teacher who teaches Year 7 students in English, Maths and Science. I focus on helping pupils boost their Literacy and Numeracy skills within these subjects and easing the transition from primary to secondary. I also teach the Passmores Competency Curriculum (PCC) which is a project-based subject covering the Humanities and Expressive Arts and helps the students learn some key life skills like time keeping and teamwork.
I am part of the Inclusion team as well as working closely with each department for the subjects I teach.
I am excited to be part of this dynamic and forward thinking school and aim to encourage my tutor group to join in all aspects of school life with a positive attitude which will help them reach their fullest potential. I have a sympathetic ear and want my tutees to know that I am here to listen to them. I am interested in their opinions, successes, queries and problems and will always try to help and contribute wherever possible. I expect my tutor group to work with me and each other to make this school an even greater environment and to have some fun along the way.
